Congratulations Jhon Carrillo!

By: ILE TEAM Day of the Bolivarian Professor? Had you ever heard of it? Well, at Universidad Simon Bolivar, every April, we commemorate this day as a tribute to the birth of the founding principal of the institution and the recognition of the professors for their merits and contributions to the development of comprehensive training in the fields of science, humanities and technology; and to the development of scientific research, internationalization and the promotion of human development.

During the event, prizes are awarded in the categories of Teaching Excellence, Research Excellence, Academic Lifetime, Bolivarian Professor Emeritus, Honorary Professor, Best Evaluated Professor of the Year and Professor of the Year.

This year (2023), it took place on April 13th at the José Consuegra Higgins Theater where many professors were celebrated. Among these professors, there was our dear John Carrillo, who has been working with us for more than 15 years now, always showing dedication and commitment to students’ learning. For that, we say: congratulations!
